Overview

Join CanAtom Power Group, a dynamic joint venture between AtkinsRéalis and Aecon, delivering critical nuclear engineering projects for Ontario Power Generation. As a Project Manager, Tooling, you will play a key role within the Pickering RFBR team, leading the lifecycle of engineered tooling that supports major refurbishment projects.

Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers, vendors, and project stakeholders, you will contribute directly to the safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery of innovative tooling solutions that power the future of nuclear energy.

Your Role
  • Lead the execution of engineered tooling projects, ensuring alignment with safety, schedule, cost, and quality objectives
  • Manage the full tooling lifecycle including design, procurement, fabrication, testing, refurbishment, and readiness
  • Coordinate with vendors, client stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful tooling delivery
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships and promote a ONE TEAM culture across all partners
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in tooling processes and project delivery
  • Monitor and report on project cost and schedule performance in collaboration with project controls
  • Oversee tooling resources within a matrix Engineering, Procurement, and Construction environment

  • Proficiency in nuclear project management, including estimating, scheduling, and cost control
  • Aptitude for managing complex stakeholder relationships and communicating effectively
