ARCO/Murray is currently looking for a highly motivated Project Manager who is passionate about the construction process to join our Tenant Solutions team in our Fort Lauderdale office. This individual will be managing a wide variety of interior projects from tenant improvements and adaptive reuse to build-to-suit opportunities and full conversions of spaces in the Industrial, Entertainment and Commerical sectors. Additionally, this role has the unique opportunity to help grow the business in the South Florida market and have a voice in strategy and client relations at a high level. A DAY IN THE LIFE- Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of project from the earliest stages of preconstruction through project closeout
- Work closely with clients and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and project budget
- Participate in the proposal meeting with clients to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, provide value engineering ideas, and negotiate contracts & fees
- Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout process for all trades and vendors
- Identify and investigate opportunities to procure material and/or specialty equipment directly when advantageous to project budget or schedule
- Work with Project Superintendent to develop and review subcontractor scopes of work/contracts, project schedule, and site logistics plan
- Lead preconstruction planning meetings with all designers, subcontractors and vendors aimed at solving potential constructability, sequencing, and/or manpower issues
- Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.
- Track and manage project performance vs budget; prepare owner pay applications, cost status, and progress billing reports

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS - BS in Engineering, Construction Mnaagement or related field
- 4-6 years' of construction management or engineering design experience, preferably for interior projets
- Previous experience leading ground-up commercial or industrial projects is preferred
- Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
