Position SummaryResponsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of multiple manufacturing operations projects that include the following: cost reduction, process improvement, new product development implementation, and integration projects with company strategy, commitments and goals.
Responsible for making sure multiple manufacturing operations projects are completed within a specific set of restraints. These constraints may include time, money, people and materials. Projects must be completed to a high level of quality.
What You'll Do as a Project Engineer- Lead the initiation, planning, implementation, and closure of multiple projects, varying in size and scope and recommend revisions in project work plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Facilitate the definition of projects' scope, goals and deliverables.
- Lead Operations Steering Committee (OSC) projects of varying complexity with average supervision/guidance/coaching.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scopes.
- Ensure adherence to the OSC project management process and accurate/effective updates to the OSC.
- Ensure project documents are generated on time and accurately.
- Utilize the project dashboard to identify and communicate risks, issues, mitigation, and change management per the approved project charter.
- Identify critical issues and contingency plans on projects.
- Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
- Prepare and present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions for superior and upper management, as needed.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Consistently monitor and report on progress of multiple projects to appropriate stakeholders.
- Understand ROI cost savings and make decisions and recommendations accordingly.
- Thoroughly understand and execute projects within the OSC project management process/Phase gate approval process.
- Challenge CFT and CCT members while serving as a role model and mentor. Act as Coach.
- Clarify and assign project member roles and responsibilities for each project.
- Inspire coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence.
The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed- Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of Project Management Experience
- Proven experience in team leadership and coaching (4 years).
- Proven experience in people management (4 years).
- Proven experience in risk management (4 years).
- Proven experience in change management (4 years).
- Be accomplished in using Microsoft Office software, search engines and databases (4 years).
- Proven project leadership experience (2-5 years)

Pay range for this opportunity is $92,650.00 - $119,900.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
