Job Responsibilities - Manages Phase 4 Modernization implementation activities ensuring successful installation, testing, cutover, and System Acceptance of modernized Base Area Network infrastructure
- Coordinates installation teams, schedules, and resources across all modernization activities
- Ensures execution aligns with PMO-approved System Planning, Requirements, Implementation Plan (SPRIP) and 18-month modernization timeline
- Manages Preliminary Integration Reviews (PIR) and Critical Integration Reviews (CIR) with Government stakeholders and base organizations
- Coordinates Integration Plan Acceptance processes ensuring timely Government approvals
- Manages Network Integration Lab operations and Qualification Testing activities
- Coordinates installation schedules, Authorized Service Interruptions, and base coordination requirements
- Manages equipment procurement, delivery, and logistics
- Oversees OSP fiber optic installations and ISP infrastructure deployments
- Coordinates with base Civil Engineering for AF Forms 332, 813, and 103 approvals
- Manages cutover planning and execution minimizing operational impacts
- Leads System Acceptance Testing coordination and documentation
Required Qualifications - Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, information technology, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of program/project management
experience in network infrastructure implementation or telecommunications deployment. - Department of Defense, Secret clearance or the ability obtain an interim Secret clearance
- PMP certification preferred
- Willing to travel throughout the US up to 25%
