Location: Charlotte, NC

A Snapshot of Your Day

This role will be based at our new factory in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, and will initially coincide with the factory's construction. During this phase, we will focus on developing our processes, refining our offerings, and collaborating closely with a high-performance team. This will involve all aspects of the commercial setup to ensure we are well-prepared to meet the needs of our customers effectively when factory operations start.

The candidate must have a solid understanding of basic Project Management principles to execute customer and construction projects as well as capital projects according to safety, quality, cost and schedule requirements. How You'll Make an Impact
  • Project Oversight and Execution: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain project management methodologies, tools, and templates.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Risk Management and Problem Solving: identify and manage project risks, issues, and implement mitigation strategies to address project challenges.
  • Resolve conflicts and escalate issues as necessary to ensure project success.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in project delivery.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with at least 3yrs of project management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Candidates with more experience may be considered for a higher level and vice versa.
  • Experience with global projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams highly desirable.
  • Related experience with power transformers, construction, and/or business development projects highly desirable.
  • Ability to lead cradle-to-grave project management oversight involving engineering, procurement, manufacturing and shipment of power plant equipment.
  • PMP or IPMA Certification is a plus.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC
