Full Job Description
The Project Manager - Retail role is responsible for managing retail construction and renovation projects from award through completion, coordinating customers, field teams, estimating, and office support to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality work throughout the Midwest.

What You'll Do

  • Manages assigned retail construction projects from planning through closeout.
  • Coordinates with superintendents, project coordinators, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers to meet schedule, quality, safety, and budget goals.
  • Monitors project costs, forecasts financial performance, prepares pay requests, and manages contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and buyout activities.
  • Maintains knowledge of contract documents, schedules, submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, meeting minutes, logs, and project documentation.
  • In partnership with Superintendent and field operations team, works to control risk on the job and to keep our subcontractors, customers and their facilities and equipment safe, as well as the public.
  • Conducts site visits, jobsite PM inspections, punch list reviews, quality checks, and closeout coordination.
  • Uses Procore and client project software, including Wrike, Lucernix, Evoco, and Pulse, to maintain schedules, punch lists, issues, and escalation communications.
  • Prepares bids, budget estimates, bid scopes, and constructability reviews for construction management and negotiated projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
  • Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent construction experience required.
  • OSHA 30 certification required within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Minimum 7 years of construction project management experience.
  • Ability to read plans and specifications; familiarity with field practices, scheduling, codes, and OSHA safety guidelines.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, required.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
  • Work is primarily performed from the main office, with occasional travel to job sites where exposure to outside conditions may apply.
