About the roleThe Project Manager provides consulting services to our retail client telecom client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. Projects consist of retail store fit-outs and renovations from preconstruction planning and permitting to closeout.
This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion
This is a remote opportunity with 20%-30% travel primarily in the Eastern and Central Time Zones.What you'll doManage all areas of project management for commercial real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
Interface directly with Architects and General Contractors, define scope, and manage RFP's and RFIs.
Interface directly with clients to prepare all project elements, including the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification.
Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
Mentor others and share knowledge of your job subject area and have broad understanding of several job fields within the function.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

What you'll needApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
- Experience with retail client accounts managing fit-out and renovation construction is preferred.
- Ability to read architectural drawings and technical construction documents
- Knowledge of lease agreements and vendor management is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Smartsheet. Experience with Tango or similar project management software required. Corrigo or other facilities management software is desirable.
- Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
