Project Manager - Production Innovation Center (Modular Electrical)

Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for leading modular electrical pre-fab construction projects from concept through delivery. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, coordinating estimating, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate has experience in electrical construction, manufacturing, prefabrication, or industrial projects and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities Project & Customer Management
  • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in customer meetings and support project development activities.
  • Manage projects from award through delivery and closeout.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings and provide ongoing project updates.

Estimating & Planning
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Support conceptual, budgetary, and final estimates.
  • Assist in proposal development, scheduling, and project planning.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and value-engineering solutions.

Execution & Coordination
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and milestone tracking.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, and logistics activities.
  • Manage project documentation, change orders, RFIs, and customer communications.
  • Monitor budgets, labor performance, material costs, and profitability.
  • Ensure modular assemblies are delivered to quality, schedule, and customer expectations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in electrical construction, manufacturing, prefabrication, modular construction, or industrial project management.
  • Understanding of electrical systems and construction practices.
  • Experience reading construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Estimating experience in electrical, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with modular skids, data centers, mission-critical facilities, or power distribution systems.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.
  • Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Revit, Navisworks, or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
