Job Overview:Drives strategic initiatives to ensure Business Plan alignment, focusing on cost-efficiency, productivity, and operational excellence across all production shops. The role challenges the status quo, implements transformation projects, and provides data-driven insights to support leadership decisions. It also fosters cross-plant collaboration, standardization, and benchmarking to enhance efficiency and long-term competitiveness
Responsibilities:
  • Drive plant-wide strategic initiatives that ensure alignment with the annual Business Plan, including cost-efficiency programs, productivity improvements, and structural optimization across Body Shop, Paint Shop, Assembly, and Logistics.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement cost-efficiency measures in all production shops. Work closely with shop leaders and cross-functional teams to challenge existing processes and uncover improvement potentials
  • Lead cross-functional steering of strategic measures, ensuring transparency on progress, risks and impact. Facilitate decision-making with plant leadership team and maintain clear governance structures for initiatives.
  • Challenge the status quo by applying data-driven analysis, benchmarking, and best practices. Actively question existing processes and structures to drive innovation, efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate alignment between key functions (Engineering, Production shops, Logistics, HR, Sales & Finance) to develop feasible and optimized production scenarios. Lead discussions around program adaptations, resource planning, and mitigation measures.
  • Prepare and deliver strategically relevant analyses and decision-making tools, including progress tracking of key initiatives, business plan deviations, and cross-functional KPIs reflecting overall plant performance.
  • Initiate and manage transformation projects that enhance efficiency, competitiveness and sustainability of plant operations.
  • Drive cross-plant collaboration within the global Van-Operation network, promoting standardization, sharing best practices, and conducting benchmarking to enhance operational efficiency and to derive the best possible solutions


Qualifikationen
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Administration, Economics, Production, Logistics or in a related Engineering field required,
A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in a Production or Consulting oriented environment with strong emphasis on project management and process planning & optimization

Knowledge and Skills :
English language skills required, German language skills preferred
Lean Manufacturing, Production process optimization and/or Consulting experiences preferred
Enhanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of management,
Highly motivated self-starter; Team oriented; outstanding planning and proactive skills
