Position Summary

The Project Manager provides overall contract oversight, ensures compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), manages staffing, and serves as the primary point of contact for the VA Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer Representative (COR). This position supports consistent contract performance, operational continuity, and timely communication with government stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee all contract operations, staffing, and day-to-day service delivery requirements.
  • Ensure uninterrupted 24/7/365 coverage in accordance with contract expectations and the PWS.
  • Maintain accurate personnel rosters and coordinate staffing-related information with VA Police or other designated representatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the VA Contracting Officer and COR regarding operational matters, staffing updates, and contract performance.
  • Conduct monthly performance evaluation meetings and document key updates, concerns, corrective actions, and follow-up items.
  • Manage employee training, onboarding, credentialing, and readiness requirements to support contract compliance.
  • Respond to after-hours operational issues within 60 minutes and coordinate appropriate resolution or escalation.
  • Monitor performance trends, identify operational risks, and support corrective actions when needed.
