Project Manager | Municipal & Water Resources

We are actively seeking a Project Manager in our Cranberry Township, PA office to support our Municipal & Water Resources Engineering Service Group. As a Project Manager with HRG, you will manage engineering projects from initial planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations. You will lead multidisciplinary project teams, coordinate resources, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal team members throughout all phases of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide overall project management for assigned municipal and water resources engineering projects
  • Lead and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality, including monitoring utilization and financial performance
  • Review and prepare plans, specifications, and contract documents, ensuring accuracy and quality of deliverables
  • Coordinate and lead interactions with contractors, including interpretation of designs and specifications
  • Conduct project site visits during various stages of construction to observe progress, quality, and compliance
  • Maintain ongoing client communication during and after project completion
  • Attend and participate in meetings with agencies and municipalities related to permit review and approvals, including PENNDOT where applicable
  • Collaborate with other project managers, engineers, and technical staff to ensure successful project outcomes and appropriate workload distribution

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Pennsylvania Professional Engineering license preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in civil, municipal, and water resources engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in municipal representation, stormwater management, roads, utilities, construction administration, ordinance and plan review, environmental permits (PADEP, USACE, FEMA), PennDOT permits, grant applications, project presentations, specification writing, and meeting facilitation preferred
  • Client-focused leader and team player, possessing strong communication, planning and organizational skills
  • Effective utilization of common business platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting tools, project management systems, etc.
  • Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays
  • Valid US Driver's License is required
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
