Full Job Description
Project Manager (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services Inc.; Chandler, AZ): Coordinate contract preparation and budget management activities for engineering projects. Draft proposals and change orders in alignment with engineering project requirements. Track financials of the project using Earned Value Management methods to objectively measure project performance. Coordinate project deliverables, document submittals, client meetings, and review comments. Develop technical and cost proposals for clients. Perform business development activities including networking with consultants and clients. Supervise project meetings, coordination, kickoff, project schedules, and financials. Provide weekly and monthly reporting to the client teams reflecting progress, cost, schedule, safety, and risks. Review engineering reports, studies, specifications, drawings, and design documents necessary to manage projects. Conduct project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.). #LI-DNI #GTM Bonus: Individuals in this position may be paid a discretionary bonus. Requirements: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience; OR a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Earned Value Management; Maintaining schedule, scope, and budget for civil engineering projects throughout the program cycle; Drafting technical documents for engineering project proposals; Coordinating engineering development projects; Engineering design codes and standards; and Full-cycle administration of engineering projects including contracting, reporting, invoicing, scheduling, Accounts Receivable/Payable, insurance, progress reporting, and baseline versus actual cost accounting. Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days a week. Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
