Job DescriptionJob Summary:
Manages Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) construction project management individuals to deliver high-quality results and foster professional growth. Oversees the successful delivery of MEP systems within construction projects by applying advanced expertise in MEP installations, coordination, and compliance with industry codes and standards. Manages and coordinates multidisciplinary teams to ensure all MEP project requirements, schedules, and quality benchmarks are achieved throughout the construction lifecycle. Ensures efficient MEP project execution by closely monitoring installation progress, equipment procurement, coordination and management, analyzing system performance, proactively identifying and resolving technical and logistical challenges, and managing MEP budgets, forecasts, contracts, and cost controls to achieve financial targets and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Leads, manages, and develops a team of MEP professionals to achieve exceptional performance and foster talent development in the delivery of MEP systems.
Oversees end-to-end MEP project execution by collaborating with design teams, trade partners, and field teams, monitoring MEP equipment procurement and supply-chain impacts, installation progress, and addressing escalated, complex issues to ensure the timely completion of all MEP scopes.
Oversees and approves procurement and delivery of MEP materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Communicates project status, risks, and changes to all stakeholders through site inspections, status meetings, and performance metrics, identifying and addressing deviations from plan.
Implements both standard and non-standard quality control measures and safety protocols on MEP projects throughout the project lifecycle.
Evaluates MEP project performance, identifies areas for improvement, and implements corrective actions.
Reviews comprehensive MEP project documentation for compliance, reporting, and future reference.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
7 years of experience in MEP systems within construction projects or a related field required.
1 - 2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred.
Anticipated starting pay range:
$120,000.00- $140,000.00
