Full Job Description
We're looking to add a Project Manager to join our LED lighting retrofit of here at PEC (Pacific Energy Concepts), but, before we dive into the nitty-gritty, we'd love to tell you a bit about us.

The Job

The Project Manager is responsible for independently managing a diverse portfolio of turnkey lighting retrofit projects, including both standard and moderately complex scopes. This role leads project execution from pre-construction through closeout, with full ownership of scheduling, material management, field coordination, and client communication.

The Project Manager role requires regular travel (30-50%) to support critical milestones, site conditions, and field execution needs. When not traveling, this position will be based in-person in our Vancouver, WA office.

This position has a hiring range of $92,000 - $135,000. This range reflects the full compensation range across the Project Manager role. Final offer will be determined based on role level, experience, skills, and qualifications.

Core Functions:
  • Manage and execute turnkey lighting retrofit projects, with full ownership of scope, timeline, budget, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee a diverse project portfolio spanning warehouse, retail, exterior, and one for one lighting replacements, balancing timelines, resources, and execution priorities across a range of project complexities.
  • Lead on-site execution for critical milestones, including kickoff meetings, inspections, commissioning, and closeout, ensuring quality and customer alignment.
  • Resolve unforeseen challenges related to scope changes, logistics, contractor coordination, or site-specific constraints to keep projects on track.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact, maintaining consistent communication and setting clear, realistic expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with Energy Program teams to ensure accurate communication of rebate and incentive eligibility throughout the project.
  • Manage procurement logistics, including bill of materials creation, vendor coordination, and oversight of shipping, material delivery, and warehouse inventory.
  • Ensure installation readiness and compliance through pre and post installation inspections with customers, contractors, and utility partners.
  • Conduct final walkthroughs, energy re-audits, and customer training to confirm project goals, incentive qualifications, and successful handoff.
  • Deliver complete closeout packages, including photo documentation, energy reports, and commissioning results.

Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university; two to seven years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in LED lighting, MEP systems, electrical infrastructure, or similar construction/trade project experience strongly preferred.

Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
  • Valid, insurable Driver's License required
