The Opportunity

Shape the world around you - Join WSP's Resources (Industrial and Mining) team and contribute to large-scale projects that redefine industrial standards in Québec. In this role, you will be responsible for multidisciplinary and industrial HVAC project management across a variety of mandates, bringing your technical expertise, leadership, and ability to coordinate teams in a highly collaborative, high-impact environment.

Your Impact
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to clarify technical requirements, present concepts, and communicate study results.
  • Manage multidisciplinary and/or industrial HVAC projects throughout their full life cycle.
  • Prepare quantity takeoffs and contribute to budget estimates to support rigorous project planning.
  • Review and oversee the production of technical documents: tender packages, specifications, reports, and design deliverables.
  • Supervise the work of technicians, designers, and professionals assigned to projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Actively participate in the design of plans, specifications, and details for mechanical, industrial, mining, or institutional projects.
  • Support the project manager, as needed, with coordination, schedule tracking, and budget management.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of work methods and to technical innovation within the team.


The Skills That Make a Difference
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent training.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in industrial or mining mechanics.
  • Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Knowledge of building mechanics (DEC considered an asset).
  • Experience in consulting engineering considered an asset.
  • Natural leadership, rigor, initiative, and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • ASP Construction card required.
  • Valid driver's licence.


Compensation
  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,854 - $107,050
  • MB & ON: $73,830 - $101,516
  • NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $70,499 - $96,936
