Job DescriptionRole Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager III to lead successful delivery of medium-to-large-scale healthcare IT implementations for radiology and cardiology imaging solutions. This role requires strong project management expertise combined with the ability to navigate complex customer environments, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time, on-budget project completion. The ideal candidate brings proven experience managing multiple concurrent implementations, mentoring junior team members, and building trusted advisor relationships with healthcare provider clients. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customers realize the full value of Intelerad's medical imaging platforms throughout their implementation journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery for medium to large-scale healthcare IT implementations, managing project scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation to ensure successful outcomes that meet customer requirements and business objectives.
- Serve as primary customer contact and trusted advisor throughout project lifecycle, proactively identifying and resolving issues, managing escalations cross-functionally, and maintaining transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
- Coordinate Professional Services resources across implementation teams, create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans, status reports, and meeting minutes, and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and established timelines.
- Mentor Project Manager I and II team members, providing guidance on best practices, escalation management, and customer relationship development to build team capability and ensure consistent delivery excellence across the PMO organization.
- Lead internal transformation and standardization initiatives under PMO leadership direction, contributing to continuous improvement programs that enhance delivery methodology, tools, and team performance across Professional Services.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in project management roles, with demonstrated success leading medium to largescale technology implementations
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize competing demands, and deliver results within timeline and budget constraints
Preferred Qualifications & Special Requirements
- Experience managing healthcare IT projects or working in healthcare provider environments strongly preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification
- Experience with radiology or cardiology healthcare IT solutions such as PACS, RIS, or enterprise imaging platforms
- Experience managing projects in North American healthcare setting
- Skills in cloud architecture and networking a major advantage, AWS preferred
- CAPM or PMP certification
Travel Requirements • This position requires up to 25% travel, primarily throughout North America
