Qualifications

• 84 months of experience in managing IT software and database development projects, including analysis and implementation.
• Proficient in using project management software like Microsoft Project to develop and manage project plans and resources.
• Demonstrated ability to define and manage project Cost, Scope, Schedule, and Quality (CSSQ).
• 84 months of experience in modernization projects across health and human service domains.
• 60 months of experience in performing risk identification and creating Risk Assessment Plans.
• Experience developing and executing project communication plans for effective stakeholder engagement.
• 36 months of experience managing IT projects with multiple development teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project team activities to ensure project alignment and execution.
• Create and manage project plans, schedules, and all related project management documents.
• Report project status and updates to ITS leadership and Department of Health stakeholders.
• Act as a central point for addressing team and stakeholder issues or concerns.
• Manage system development tasks according to priorities set by NYSDOH.
• Identify potential project risks and devise strategies to mitigate them.
• Document lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle for future reference.
