WHAT ARE SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop comprehensive project charters (including scope, schedule, cost estimates, and resource allocation) and provide ongoing progress reporting to internal clients, supervisors, and stakeholders.
- Lead design, status, and technical review meetings to support project planning and execution.
- Act as the central point of contact for all information distribution regarding a project including extensive communication with the numerous project partners and participants (i.e. regulatory agencies, government, emergency services and internal departments) that may be affected by specific project activities.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including operations teams, regulatory bodies, contractors, and consultants, to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and met.
- Identify potential risks during project charter phase and implement risk management plans to minimize their impact. Monitor project schedules, estimate design and construction durations, and set and communicate key milestones.
- Responsible for the management of all costs on individual projects and all elements within a project including establishing project budgets, tracking and updating project costs, and forecasting monthly cash flows for each project.
- Participate in the development and planning of the Annual Capital Program, with a focus on the physical restoration or expansion of facilities at both airports.
- Plan, organize and deliver the activities related to Construction Tenders through collaborative work with the Supply Chain and Accounting departments.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related Construction/Engineering discipline is required. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- 6+ years of project management related experience with a focus on infrastructure, civil or facility construction is required.
- Hands-on experience supporting the coordination and delivery of construction or infrastructure projects of a similar size and scope -typically ranging from small initiatives to mid-sized capital projects valued up to $5M.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- As this position is considered safety-sensitive, candidates must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as part of the hiring process.
- This role includes driving as part of its duties; therefore, candidates will be required to provide a valid Class 5 driver's license and a current driver's abstract as part of the hiring process.
WHAT ADDITIONAL SKILLS ARE AN ASSET
- Bilingual in English and French
- Professional designation such as P. Eng. or PMP or in progress is highly desirable.
- Experience working in the aviation or transportation industry is an asset.
