Key Responsibilities for Project Manager:- Manage heavy civil construction projects from initial planning through project completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and productivity objectives.
- Coordinate daily activities with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and project owners.
- Administer project documentation, including contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and related records.
- Monitor project costs, schedules, productivity, and overall progress to ensure operational and financial goals are achieved.
- Lead project meetings, provide regular updates to clients, and resolve project issues efficiently.
Qualifications for Project Manager:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Five or more years of project management experience in heavy civil, infrastructure, or deep foundation construction.
- Experience managing public infrastructure, transportation, industrial, or commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, procurement, and contract management.
- Familiarity with unit-price contracts, competitive bidding procedures, and government-funded construction projects is preferred.
SAFETYThis is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects. Project sites contain various safety hazards associated with heavy construction. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis.
