Full Job Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading projects, from defining the scope through final delivery, while adhering to defined objectives in terms of Performances, Quality, Cost and Lead Time.

This position will define processes and lead the project team, as well as report on the project's performance, issues, and risks to the steering committee.

The Project Manager will be required to interface with all project stakeholders to develop a project plan, establish a work breakdown and deliver timelines in order to ensure that project teams can successfully execute projects. The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end coordination of the project from ideation /from scope definition - phase 1 to project follow up after launch phase 7. The role requires close collaboration with all project stakeholders (category / NPD / Industrialization / production / marketing / sales/ services) to ensure successful execution, on-time delivery, and alignment with corporate, departmental, and product priorities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive and ensure the delivery of the products or services defined in the Roadmap.
  • Support the development and consolidation of the Roadmap
  • Ensure compliance with the project management methodology and value-creation processes
  • Establish projects, provide project plans, manage ongoing projects, and oversee the final delivery of completed projects
    • Establish a project schedule and budget
    • Deliver projects in accordance with scope, timeline, quality, budget, and business objectives
    • Continually monitor and report on key performance indicators including earned value, project deliverables, financials and risk mitigation status
    • Manage changes to the project scope through the change management process


  • Ensure that the commitments and processes of the various departments involved in the project are properly followed.
  • Partner with project stakeholders, including the executive team, product management, and technical leads to build the project charter.
    • Ensure optimal use of resources and maximize ROI
  • Ensure the availability of the required deliverables
  • Provide regular reporting to internal and external clients and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Ensure effective management of project and technical risks.
    • Alert management and, when necessary depending on criticality, the project steering committee of any deviation, and keep the other project team members informed.
  • Contribute to identifying resource needs and defining the required profiles.
  • Lead regular meetings with the project team to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Manage project closure activities, organize the knowledge gained, and ensure its proper capitalization.
    • Lead REX review
  • Actively contribute to ongoing process improvements, driving the company to more Lean/Agile methodologies
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION

  • BS in related Engineering or Project Management


WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years of product development (ideally systems with mechanics, electronics, automatism and software)
  • 5 years of cross functional team leadership experience


SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE

  • Experienced understanding of project management, development environments, and product life cycles
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and project management skills, including effort estimation and risk assessment
  • Demonstrated hands-on management of a development team responsible for multi-tiered systems
  • Demonstrated expertise in communicating clearly and concisely to various levels of management
