Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage air filtration design and development projects for regional customers
  • Ensure efficient APQP project management for OEM/OES/Tier1 customer projects following automotive industry standards
  • Coordinate regional project management with the project team
  • Oversee APQP processes at production sites, from launch managers to project finalization
  • Initiate filter media development based on internal and external project requirements
  • Drive and execute Product Development Projects (PDPs)
  • Allocate and coordinate team efforts while contributing to technical direction
  • Contribute to R&D and Engineering projects for cockpit systems
  • Monitor and communicate global market trends and competitor activities

Full Job Description
Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing design and development projects for regional OE customers for air filtration
  • Product Development Projects-Customer = PDP-C: Ensuring efficient APQP project management for customer projects in OEM/OES/Tier1 in accordance with the requirements of the automotive industry: Follow IATF 16949, VDA and/or other customer-specific specifications
  • Regional project management with involvement of the regional project team
  • Managing the efficient and target fulfilling APQP in the production sites through launch managers up to the finalization of the internal/external approval, SOP and transfer to Sales/OPS
  • Filter Media: Initiating filter media development by definition of development requirements (external and/or internal motivation) in alignment with the superior functions
  • Drive and execute PDP-Is
  • Allocates/coordinates work within the team/project and/or contributes to technical/professional direction for a discipline
  • Cockpit: Active contribution of Cockpit R&D/Engineering projects
  • Technical value proposition: Active contribution in the preparation work for technical product argumentation for innovative air quality systems and setting/influencing the trend for the future
  • Monitor and communicate market trends and competitor activities/capabilities on a global basis


Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge in business administration
  • High level of experience for advanced air filtration (particle, functional and adsorption)
  • Business acumen and project leadership skills, as well as significant understanding of automotive industry protocols and practices.
  • University degree in engineering (Bachelor/ Masters degree)
  • Min 3a of substantial Market knowledge in air filtration and automotive industry
  • Strong project management skills
  • Good understanding of how the team integrates with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area
  • Good judgment-based analysis of information
  • Good controlling knowledge for cost model development
  • Knowledge of automotive sales and marketing aspects are also essential, given the necessary link to value selling of new innovative products and services.
  • Negotiation necessary for specification development with customers
  • Professional business English skills, further language skills as a plus
