Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; prefer an Associate's degree in Electrical Power or relevant military training.
• Over 5 years of experience managing electrical maintenance or switchgear commissioning projects.
• Familiarity with key tools/software such as Doble, Power DB, and relay testing instruments is preferred.
• NETA Certification is favorable but not mandatory.
• Competence in Microsoft Office and general PC skills is necessary; familiarity with PowerDB is an asset.
• Safety certifications (OSHA 30, MSHA, NFPA 70-E) preferred; training available upon hire.
• Commitment to maintaining safety protocols in electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical services jobs across various voltage levels up to 500kV.
• Perform at least half of job duties in the field, ensuring hands-on management.
• Collaborate with sales for job quoting and pre-planning activities.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to crew members for project completion.
• Provide updates and address customer concerns during meetings.
• Identify potential for job expansion and communicate opportunities with customers.
• Monitor project budgets, ensuring efficient use of time and materials.
• Conduct final job walk with customer to ensure satisfaction before job energization.
• Compile reports for accuracy to be submitted to the Production Manager.
• Be part of an on-call rotation for emergency responses.
