Full Job Description
Superior Environmental Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager / Estimator to oversee environmental and selective demolition projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is responsible for estimating, project management, client communication, operational oversight, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating & Business Development
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits.
  • Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
  • Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and budgetary pricing.
  • Solicit and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Assist with contract review and project setup.

Project Management
  • Manage projects from inception through completion.
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and scheduling.
  • Monitor project budgets and profitability.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, change orders, submittals, and progress billings.
  • Communicate project updates, delays, and scope changes to clients and internal teams.
  • Attend project meetings as required.
  • Visit project sites to monitor progress and address client concerns.

Operations & Field Coordination
  • Work closely with Field Supervisors to ensure company best practices, safety standards, and quality expectations are met.
  • Oversee daily operational activities related to environmental and demolition projects.
  • Ensure projects comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assist with local licensing and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Prepare asbestos abatement work plans and support environmental compliance efforts.
  • Procure and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.

Leadership & Administrative Oversight
  • Supervise and support field and office personnel as needed.
  • Assist with developing and implementing company procedures and protocols.
  • Review weekly payroll and support work-in-progress reporting.
  • Help oversee accounts receivable and project billing processes.
  • Collaborate with senior management to improve operational efficiency and business performance.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in environmental remediation, asbestos abatement, selective demolition, or related construction fields preferred.
  • Strong estimating and project management experience.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, safety standards, and construction practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license required.

  • MA Asbestos Supervisor License
  • OSHA 30
