Kinetic Environmental Ltd. has an opportunity within our Calgary branch for
Project Manager to plan, schedule, organize, direct, control and evaluate hazardous material abatement and demolition projects from start to finish according to schedule, specification and budget. Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress against established schedules. Provides support with all pre-construction and estimating activities and to grow with us.
The salary band for this position is $100,000 -$130,000 annually and is based on relevant skills and experience. Additional compensation includes monthly vehicle allowance. Key Responsibilities- Project Management

Position SpecificationsQualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, environmental science, business or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Minimum five years of progressive project management experience in hazardous materials abatement, demolition, remediation, environmental contracting or a closely related construction field.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, contracts and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of construction, demolition and hazardous materials abatement means, methods, sequencing and controls.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and construction management software such as Procore; experience with estimating and scheduling software is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and field teams.
- Competence in estimating, quantity take-off, budgeting, forecasting and change management.
- Clear written and verbal communication, sound judgment and strong attention to detail.
- Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively across office and field teams.
- High ethical standards, accountability and conduct consistent with the Company's values and policies.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
- Strong analytical, numerical, critical-thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to organize and maintain complete, accurate and timely project records.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
- Ability to work from the Vancouver office and active project sites, with occasional work outside regular business hours when project conditions require.
- Experience with asbestos abatement, hazardous materials, demolition, waste management and environmental remediation is strongly preferred.
