IntePros is seeking a Project Manager - Engineering for our medical device client in Chandler, AZ. This role is part of a Product Transfer team and will contribute to high-impact, cost-transformative engineering projects. The Project Manager will work across a network of stakeholders spanning Product Transfer, Operations, and divisional partners, making strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
This is an
individual contributor role requiring sound judgment, professional expertise, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
- Prioritize tasks and coordinate team resources to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met.
- Evaluate and escalate changes that significantly impact project scope, budget, or timeline.
- Lead engineering projects across multiple sites.
- Monitor project progress and performance against established plans.
- Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize project delays.
- Collaborate closely with project management counterparts across international sites.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key project stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, risks, timelines, and expectations across multidisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience managing engineering projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to clearly communicate project risks and manage expectations across different functional groups.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset, with the ability to identify new and better ways of working.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Project, including the ability to build project schedules and manage the critical path.
Preferred Qualifications- PMP certification.
- Engineering degree or technical engineering background.
- Experience working in an FDA-regulated or other highly regulated industry.
