Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• At least 5 years of experience in civil engineering focused on municipal infrastructure and utility district services.
• Experience with Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs) or public sector clients preferred.
• Familiarity with capital planning, permitting, utility design, and construction oversight.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and environmental compliance practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee infrastructure projects, developing Capital Improvement Plans (CIPs) and permitting documentation.
• Review and approve development plans and contractor pay applications for compliance with District standards.
• Provide technical oversight during construction and rehabilitation of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Coordinate with developers, consultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Prepare engineering proposals and manage project completion to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.
• Support operational planning and emergency response efforts in collaboration with District Operators.
• Stay informed about relevant legislation and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders.
