Job DescriptionThe Project Manager is responsible for overseeing interior design projects from concept through completion for Securian Financial, an owner occupier of class A office in downtown St. Paul.. This position is part of an integrated Cushman & Wakefield management team working closely with the facility & engineering, project management, space planning and occupancy teams and the client, to deliver design and project management solutions in alignment with client workplace strategy and aesthetics.
- Manage interior design and furniture projects including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact regarding interior design projects, understanding needs and translating them into actionable design plans.
- Participate in development and monitoring of budgets. Manage procurement of materials and furnishings.
- Participate in development and maintenance of project timelines, ensuring milestones are met, and resources are allocated efficiently.
- Conduct site visits to ensure work aligns with design specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Prepare project reports, meeting notes, and design documentation for internal use.
- Assist in maintaining inventories of furniture onsite and in vendor warehouses.
- Onsite move management for medium (10+) and large projects
- Position is hybrid (3 days in the office per week)

IMPORTANT EDUCATION - B.S. Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA or NASAD accredited university or college
IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE - Minimum of 7 years' directly related experience in interior design and project management
- Hands-on experience with tenant improvement construction projects preferred
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS - Ability to read and understand construction specifications and blueprints
- Proficient with Bluebeam
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
