A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Responsible for managerial aspects of a project including estimating, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and execution
  • Work closely with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
  • Participate in proposal meeting with owner to review the scope of work and provide value engineering ideas
  • Oversee the buyout process and selection of subcontractors
  • Conduct biweekly jobsite meetings
  • Partner with Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule
  • Make sound decisions under tight deadlines

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of construction experience running projects with a general contractor; design/build preferred
  • Advanced Technology, Food & Beverage, Multifamily, Life Science and/or Data Center project experience
  • Estimating experience required
  • Bachelor9s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required
