Salary: $95,000 - $135,000

RANDALL Construction's Mechanical & Plumbing division is seeking is seeking a experienced, strategic, and safety-driven Project Manager to lead field operations across commercial construction projects throughout Orlando, the Florida Space Coast, and across Central Florida. This role will oversee major HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical systems installations for healthcare facilities, data centers, higher education campuses, hospitality developments, aviation projects, entertainment venues, and other large-scale commercial construction projects throughout Central Florida.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader with extensive experience managing projects with mechanical contract values ranging from $10 million to $50 million+ while delivering exceptional safety, quality, schedule, and financial results.

Position Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and execution of major mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through owner turnover. This individual will manage project teams, client relationships, financial performance, contract administration, procurement, scheduling, and risk management while ensuring project success and client satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

Project Leadership

  • Lead large-scale commercialmechanical projects from award through closeout.
  • Provide strategic direction toProject Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and fieldleadership.
  • Develop project execution plansand oversee all project activities.
  • Ensure projects are completedsafely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

Financial Management

  • Manage project budgets,forecasts, labor productivity, and profitability.
  • Review and negotiate contracts,change orders, purchase orders, and subcontract agreements.
  • Monitor project financialperformance and implement corrective action when necessary.
  • Prepare monthly financialreports for executive leadership.

Client & Business Relationships

  • Serve as the primary liaisonwith owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and keystakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strongclient relationships that drive repeat business opportunities.
  • Lead project meetings andexecutive-level communications.

Scheduling & Operations

  • Collaborate with fieldoperations to develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
  • Coordinate manpower planningand resource allocation across multiple projects.
  • Identify project risks andimplement solutions to meet milestone commitments.

Procurement & Contract Administration

  • Oversee procurement of majormechanical equipment and materials.
  • Manage subcontractorperformance and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance withcontractual obligations and project specifications.

Quality & Safety

  • Champion a culture of safetyand accountability.
  • Support project teams inachieving company and customer safety objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with companyquality standards and project requirements.


Desired Qualification Requirements and Attributes:

  • Candidates should have experience managing large commercial mechanical projects including: Hospitals and Healthcare Facilities, Data Centers, Hospitality and Resort Developments, Higher Education Campuses, Airports and Transportation Facilities, Large Mixed-Use Developments, Industrial and Manufacturing Facilities, Theme Park and Entertainment Projects
  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience in commercial mechanical construction.
  • Demonstrated success managing mechanical scopes exceeding $10 million.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with design-build, design-assist, and negotiated projects.
  • Excellent financial management, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
  • Strong contract administration and change management experience.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, preferred
  • PMP, CCM, LEED, or other industry certifications.
  • Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Knowledge of BIM/VDC coordination processes.
  • Ability to passa national security background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a hybrid Office & Field Jobsite job and, as such, you must be able to sit up to six or more hours in an eight-hour workday, lift light objects such as files and paperwork frequently during the day, and objects weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally during the day. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job.
