a growing construction-focused organization supporting commercial and multifamily projects, is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to join their team in an on-site role with local travel under 10%. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys owning projects from early planning through closeout while balancing estimating, design coordination, and day-to-day execution. It is a strong opportunity for a hands-on construction professional who wants visibility across the full project lifecycle and close collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.

What You'll Do as the Commercial Project Manager:
  • Lead commercial and multifamily projects from preconstruction through final delivery
  • Build detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and scope to support healthy project margins
  • Develop and adjust product layouts and project drawings using CAD tools
  • Review plans, quantities, and specifications to confirm pricing accuracy and project feasibility
  • Price change orders and scope revisions as project needs evolve
  • Coordinate with architects, general contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to keep work moving on schedule
  • Visit job sites as needed to monitor progress, address issues, and support successful execution
  • Create and manage schedule of values, monthly requisitions, invoicing, and milestone tracking
  • Partner with sales and operations teams to align estimates, project scope, and client expectations
  • Offer practical value engineering input to reduce risk, improve efficiency, and support project success

Must-Haves as the Commercial Project Manager:
  • 3+ years of experience in construction, estimating, project management, or a related field
  • Experience supporting commercial and/or multifamily construction projects
  • Strong math, takeoff, and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of CAD software for design, layout, or drawing revisions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with a professional and dependable approach
  • Ability to manage multiple moving parts while maintaining deadlines and quality standards
  • Valid driver's license if driving for work is required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Nice-to-Haves as the Commercial Project Manager:
