  • Develop and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using MS Project.
  • Maximize program performance through effective schedule and cost management.
  • Collaborate with team to define and manage work scope systematically.
  • Implement Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for project organization.
  • Provide accurate baseline budget and schedule estimates for projects.
  • Identify resources in teamwork with people managers for effective resource planning.
  • Track Integrated Master Schedules and perform Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Conduct critical path analysis and develop contingency plans when necessary.
  • Lead Integrated Project Team (IPT) meetings, ensuring actions are completed.
  • Drive Risk Management Board (RMB) meetings to effectively manage project risks.
  • Analyze program performance and planning data to support decision-making.
  • Generate weekly and monthly project progress reports for stakeholders.
  • Support proposal efforts with estimates derived from similar project data.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) utilizing MS Project.
  • Maximize program performance through active schedule, cost, and risk management.
  • Work with team members to define, baseline, and manage work scope.
  • Implement Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for assigned projects.
  • Provide baseline budget and schedule estimates for projects.
  • Work with people managers to identify resources and perform project resource planning.
  • Perform IMS tracking, Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA), and Earned Value Management (EVM)  
  • Perform critical path analysis, track progress against baselines, perform what-if analyses, and develop contingency plans.
  • Work with Cost Account Managers (CAMs) and Program Leads to record and track Earned Value metrics and perform Estimates To Complete (ETCs).
  • Lead Integrated Project Team (IPT) meetings and facilitate tracking/completion of action items.
  • Lead project Risk Management Board (RMB) meetings to identify, manage, and mitigate risks, opportunities, and issues.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze key program performance and planning data.
  • Develop weekly and monthly progress reports on all assigned projects.
  • Support proposal activity to ensure accurate estimates based on similar-to information from other programs.


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in project planning/management, or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience
  • Strong desire to lead teams in planning and executing to a program schedule and budget.
  • 5+ Project Management concepts and techniques.
  • Significant experience with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) scheduling utilizing MS Project or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of program financial concepts, including P&L, MR, ROS, etc.
  • 3+ yeats of Earned Value Management System techniques and reporting.
  • Strong organization skills, accuracy, attention to detail and a high degree of initiative.
  • Strong oral communication including the ability to express ideas and information and facilitate an open exchange of ideas.
  • Solid written communication skills with the ability to express facts and ideas in writing in a succinct and organized manner.
  • Strong team collaboration and analytical skills with ability to execute and follow-through on tasks to completion.
  • Demonstrated problem solving to include the ability to identify and analyze problems; use sound reasoning to arrive at conclusions; find alternative solutions to complex problems; distinguish between relevant and irrelevant information to make logical judgments.
  • Requires a high degree of independent thought and decision making.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • US Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance


Desired:

  • Experience managing electronics product development that includes hardware, firmware and software content.
  • Active TS or TS/SCI security clearance highly desired.
