Project Manager, Associate Experience Technology
Our Enterprise Tech Delivery (ETD) team within Associate Experience Technology is seeking a dynamic Manager level Project Manager to partner in leading our mission to Drive Operational Clarity Across the Tech Enterprise as an ETD Delivery Lead. In this critical role, you will be part of a team focused on ruthlessly pursuing solutions for enterprise challenges like inconsistent execution and fragmented processes. By leveraging Sensible Standardization, Intentional Automation, and Purposeful Orchestration, you will collaborate with smart, passionate leaders to reduce friction and enable scale. As a champion of the ETD Standard, you will lead with the customer, iterate with urgency, and "solve for the system" to ensure our technology organization delivers with precision and clarity from day one.
What You’ll Do:
Govern & manage large scale projects across the technology organization and Capital One Lines of Business (LOBs)
Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables and timelines are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate or escalate as needed
Ensure comprehensive project documentation and governance to proactively manage risks and guarantee on-time delivery
Leverage strong problem-solving and analytical skills to ensure project execution aligns with business intent
Serve as a strategic and tactical thought partner to stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive seamless delivery
Build strong relationships and leverage outstanding communication skills to inform, align, and influence stakeholders at all levels across the company
Quickly implement clear frameworks and organization to effectively manage work within complex workstreams
Lead with a coaching mindset to mentor, develop, and grow a team of associates
Exhibit exceptional organizational flexibility when adjusting to shifting business requirements and evolving corporate objectives

Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
5+ years of Project Management experience
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Strong problem solving and influencing skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $151,900 - $173,400 for Manager, Project Management
Richmond, VA: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Project Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
