Full Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager to take ownership of architecture and engineering design projects from kickoff through permitting and construction, working within a full-service professional design firm environment. This role leads project scope, schedules, budgets, client communication, and deliverables while guiding architects, engineers, and outside consultants through the design process. The Project Manager will help resolve scope conflicts early, keep multidisciplinary teams aligned, and ensure projects move efficiently toward completion. This is a hands-on project leadership position with direct responsibility for execution and client delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Lead architecture and engineering design projects from initial kickoff through permitting and construction.
  • Own project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and ongoing client communication.
  • Lead architects, engineers, and outside consultants through project reviews, design deliverables, and key milestones.
  • Identify and resolve scope conflicts early to prevent delays and keep project teams aligned.
  • Drive project schedules and follow up on deliverables to maintain progress against established deadlines.
  • Communicate directly with clients throughout project execution, providing updates and addressing project needs.
  • Manage multidisciplinary project workflows across design, permitting, and construction phases.
  • Monitor project requirements and deliverables to maintain alignment with client expectations and project objectives.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience managing professional design projects from kickoff through permitting and construction.
  • Experience working within an architecture, engineering, or multidisciplinary professional design environment.
  • Demonstrated ownership of project scope, schedule, budget, and client communication.
  • Experience leading architects, engineers, and outside consultants through project reviews and deliverables.
