The Learning Project Management Lead manages all facets of project execution within the Humana Military Learning Strategy & Resources team from start to finish, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. This role involves designing, communicating, and implementing operational plans, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and coordinating resources to meet strategic learning and training objectives, including compliance with contractual training requirements. This role develops project schedules and forecasts, communicates with team members to secure resources and contributions for the project. The Learning Project Management Lead conducts meetings and prepares reports to communicate the status of the project, sets priorities, allocates tasks and coordinates project team to meet targets and milestones.
This position is created specifically to assist with Humana’s efforts to secure and, if awarded, transition into a new business opportunity. As a Project Management Lead, you will:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of learning strategy projects aligned with Humana Military’s goals and contractual obligations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and forecasts to ensure timely completion.
- Monitor project performance and proactively manage risks, issues, and changes, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Facilitate effective communication across teams and stakeholders, including preparing and delivering project status reports.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to secure resources and expertise necessary for project success.

Required Qualifications:
- Our Government Contract Requires US Citizenship for this Position
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years technical experience
- 2+ years project leadership experience, preferably in learning project management or strategic program management
- Strong communication skills with a focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement
- Proven experience managing complex projects within regulated or healthcare-related environments preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
- Experience working with TRICARE, Veteran’s Affairs or government health care environments
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$115,200 - $158,400 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
