Project Management & Construction Management Support

Proposal Position
This position is contingent upon contract award. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for consideration as Futron builds its proposal team supporting Naval Medical Center San Diego. This position is based in San Diego, California.

Position Overview
Futron is seeking an experienced Project and Construction Management professional to provide project management and construction management support for facility projects at Naval Medical Center San Diego. The position will support project execution, contractor coordination, scheduling, documentation, and overall project performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project management and construction management support for facility projects.
  • Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and contractor performance.
  • Coordinate with Government personnel, contractors, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, schedules, and other project documentation.
  • Monitor construction progress and assist with project coordination.
  • Identify project risks, deficiencies, delays, and other issues.
  • Support project meetings and document action items and decisions.
  • Assist with cost, schedule, and scope management.
  • Maintain accurate project records and reports.
  • Support project closeout activities.
  • Assist with ensuring projects are completed in accordance with applicable contract requirements and Government standards.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction or Engineering, OR
  • Eight (8) years of direct construction/engineering experience.
