Position Title: Project Manager, NCC Automated Solutions

Location: Souderton, Pennsylvania

Reports to: Project Management Manager, NCC Automated Solutions

The Position

Our projects operate within tight schedules and budgets and demand close coordination across multiple departments. A successful Project Manager at NCC is a strategic leader, a clear communicator, and a proactive problem solver-able to align teams and resources to deliver:

The Project Manager is the owner of all assigned projects, driving success from planning through close-out while upholding NCC's standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Execution
  • Implement and uphold standard project management processes that ensure consistent, predictable outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Production/Assembly, and Site Services, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact, managing expectations, building trust, and ensuring clear, proactive communication.
  • Act as the central hub for all project communications within NCC, ensuring alignment across departments.


Planning & Delivery
  • Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and quality metrics.
  • Coordinate closely with Site Services to ensure all on-site activities are well-prepared, with minimal surprises or disruptions.
  • Anticipate, identify, and mitigate risks to maintain project momentum and avoid costly delays.
  • Ensure procurement, subcontractor, and vendor activities align with project requirements and timelines.


Performance & Reporting
  • Track, update, and communicate project metrics and dashboards, providing NCC leadership with actionable data for decision-making.
  • Manage project documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders.
  • Close out projects systematically, ensuring all deliverables, documentation, and lessons learned are captured.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-department projects-preferably in automation, manufacturing, or food processing/packaging industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and align cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (PMP certification a plus).
  • Ability to travel as needed for customer meetings and site services coordination
