Job Description

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a Project Management Analyst to support the execution of complex, cross-functional projects and act as a key liaison among project management, planning teams, project staff, and line leadership. This role focuses on document control, records management, logistics coordination, deliverable tracking, and facilitating communication across multiple functional teams and external parties. Additionally, this role monitors project performance, schedules, and budgets; prepares status updates; and helps resolve issues to ensure project goals for productivity, quality, and client satisfaction are met. Strong organization, communication, and independent work skills are essential in this role.

This position will be supporting the New Nuclear Group, which delivers advanced engineering, manufacturing, and program support solutions that enable the next generation of U.S. nuclear capability. Our work supports high-consequence, highly regulated environments where precision, organization, and disciplined administrative processes are essential.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily operational activities across project teams and stakeholders.
  • Support document control related items to include coordination and tracking of submittals and responses.
  • Coordinate team activities and logistical support for multiple locations.
  • Assist with internal records management across projects and teams.
  • Track project status, schedules, and budgets; deliver clear and timely reports.
  • Identify risks or issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Maintain tools and processes for monitoring progress and driving early intervention.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across internal and external groups.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and work independently with minimal supervision.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Experience providing administrative or operational project support to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and collaboration tools such as SharePoint.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information and work with limited oversight.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate across diverse groups.


Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with defense, nuclear, engineering, or other highly regulated programs.
  • Familiarity with controlled document environments, quality systems, or configuration management processes.
  • Experience supporting senior leadership or program management offices.
  • Background in Commercial Nuclear or experience with NQA 1 quality standards.


Physical Requirements

Minimal mobility, dexterity, or coordination required to operate common business machines. Maximum lifting required is approximately 40 pounds from floor to three feet in height.
