Domicilie Location

The preferred location for this hybrid position is Memphis, TN. We are open to candidates in Plano, TX and Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates residing within 50 miles of a FedEx campus will be required to work on-site at a FedEx location several times per week.

Summary

To provide technical expertise and support for planning, developing, organizing and coordinating large programs/projects.

Essential Functions:
  • Research, evaluate and recommend new technologies, methodologies, processes, and products to achieve major innovative improvements.
  • Collect, analyze, and produce financial and performance indicators and forecasts.
  • Provide appropriate specifications for and coordination of programs that cross department/division lines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to manage complex, cross-functional transformation work in ambiguous environments, helping bring structure, clarity, and momentum to evolving priorities.
  • Strong program management skills, including development and management of roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and status reporting.
  • Ability to partner effectively across business, product, technology, architecture, and program teams to support development and execution of domain modernization plans.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information, identify gaps and dependencies, and translate discussions into clear actions and next steps.
  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional working sessions, coordinate stakeholders, drive follow-up, and help teams reach alignment and decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex business and technical topics into concise, leadership-ready materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of assigned workstreams or deliverables, proactively advance work, and drive items to closure with limited day-to-day direction.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and influence across organizational and functional boundaries.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation, technology modernization, or large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience contributing to modernization roadmaps, solution plans, capability assessments, or current-state/future-state analyses.
  • Working knowledge of modern technology concepts such as cloud platforms, APIs and integration, data platforms, application architecture, DevSecOps/CI/CD, and enterprise architecture
  • Experience partnering with architects and technical teams and translating technical concepts into program dependencies, risks, actions, and business implications.
  • Experience working within a large, matrixed organization involving multiple business and technology teams.
  • Experience with Agile, product, portfolio, or enterprise program management practices.


Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business or related quantitative discipline.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years exempt experience in project/program management, product development, systems design/development or business /financial planning and analysis. Experience in the use of project management/planning software. Experience in planning major projects including development of project proposals, business cases, schedules, and financial justification.

Pay/Pay Transparency: Memphis: $7,488.36/monthly-$9,922.07/monthly, Plano: $7,882.48/monthly-$10,444.28/monthly, Pittsburgh: $7,882.48/monthly-$10,444.28/monthly

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
