Full Job Description
What You'll Do Day-To-Day

  • Provide project leadership on smaller projects and/or manage elements and functions within larger projects under the direct supervision of higher level, project manager.
  • Prepare project plans/schedules/materials to achieve project quality, reliability, cost and timing objectives.
  • Utilize approved project management methods and processes to execute low risk projects of existing technology and methods to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Provide primary interface between project team, management and client.
  • Develop assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project.
  • Coordinate multiple project activities including organizing and directing personnel, materials and equipment; utilizes team building skills to ensure satisfactory project performance.
  • Define and forecast needed skills to meet project objectives.
  • Manage the timely issuance and payment of customer invoices.
  • Utilize existing and/or acquired technical expertise to find improved technical solutions to support the product life cycle/replacement of current Framatome technologies.
  • Actively participate in solving technical issues identified by project management, business line management or by customer request with the objective to increase business opportunities for Framatome Canada Ltd.
  • Must obtain Framatome specific Project Management Certification upon hire.

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of the project management development plan, implementation and administration.
  • Business and/or technical expertise in a related technical or professional capacity.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers.
  • Good problem identification and problem resolution skills with emphasis on 'root cause' analysis.
  • Excellent report development and presentation skills.
