Full Job Description
THE WORK

The selected candidate will be the Operations Program Manager (OPM) for multiple programs within the Ground Based Air Surveillance (GBAS) Market Segment, including TPY-4 and TPS-77 product lines.

Responsibilities include:
• Lead a team of Manufacturing Project Managers (MPMs) working multiple programs, providing direction and guidance to them, and serve as a POC to program managers and the program director.
• Manage multi-site manufacturing execution and lead proposal & baseline efforts supported by MPMs on the team.
• Manage program baseline plans, capacity, resource and staffing analyses.
• Oversee Control Account Manager (CAM) activities for the portfolio.
• Manage execution by multi-disciplined manufacturing teams including manufacturing engineers, test engineers, production supervisors, and the materials team.
• Collaborate with other functions such as sourcing, hardware engineering, and quality to be successful.

Basic Qualifications

- Proven leadership skills; strong interpersonal skills

- Strong analytical and organizational skills

- Ability to multi-task and support multiple internal or external customers

- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization from represented employees through executive leadership

- Operational understanding of manufacturing core functions and associated processes / best practices including manufacturing engineering, test engineering, production control, and shop management

- Strong presentation skills

- Strong CAM skills

- Experience leading proposal & baseline efforts

- Ability to work in both production and development environments

- Accountable and decisive leader responsible for impactful decisions

- Prior experience coordinating and managing manufacturing programs across multiple factories

Desired Skills

- Cost Account Management certified

- Experience managing direct reports

- SAP and/or Solumina experience

- Tableau familiarity with ability to effectively utilize data

- Experience with Ground Based Air Surveillance (GBAS) programs

- Lean / Six Sigma green belt or black belt certified

- Experience working in a represented environment

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
