Full Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our organization and contribute to the execution of our most technically demanding automation and manufacturing projects. This role is based out of our headquarters (Danielson, CT) and is 100% on site.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, manage projects from concept through implementation, and provide technical leadership on critical initiatives. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong automation background who enjoys working across mechanical, electrical and controls disciplines to deliver integrated manufacturing solutions.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Contribute to the design, development and execution of complex engineering projects from concept through production.
  • Design, integrate and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and controls systems.
  • Evaluate technical risks and develop creative, practical solutions to complex engineering challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to automation, equipment reliability and manufacturing processes.

The successful candidate will have:
  • A technical degree (preferably a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering)
    • Strong preference for a Master's in Engineering or equivalent Master's in a technical science area.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial automation environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex engineering projects with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical system design, electrical systems and machine wiring, industrial controls, PLCs, HMIs and automation.
  • Excellent problem solving, project management and communication skills.
