Job Description
You will be a Project Engineer responsible for the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) F-16/T-50 Engineering program performance, cost, and schedule execution.
In this role, you will develop, coordinate, and execute F-16 and/or T-50 Engineering programs.
You will review F-16/T-50 engineering products for compliance to engineering principles, company standards, and contract requirements.
You will identify engineering issues and coordinate resolutions. You will execute Risk Management Processes for F-16/T-50 Engineering projects, and support the proposal development for Engineering.
You will mentor early career Project Engineers.
What You Will Be Doing
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Own overall engineering delivery for major programs, making sure performance, cost, schedule and long-term reliability goals are met.
• Spot and handle risks early. Identify technical problems, schedule and cost risks, and new opportunities; create and drive plans to address them.
• Lead large, cross-functional teams to build integrated solutions and set the technical direction.
• Be the main technical contact for complex projects, quickly resolving issues and keeping senior leaders informed.
• Coordinate work across specialties. Manage scope, dependencies, and integration points between different engineering groups to keep the project on track.
• Improve processes and mentor the team. Follow existing program and engineering procedures, and identify improvements that enable team efficiency and execution.
• Some travel will be required (foreign and/or domestic) for this role.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• 8 or more years of engineering experience.
• Earned Value Management experience.
• Secret security clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $141,300 - $244,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
