Full Job Description
Position Summary:

This position is responsible for effectively coordinating projects, reviewing/improving part designs for manufacturability, associated tool design, drawings and secondary fixtures utilizing Pro-Engineer/CREO. Additionally, this position will collaborate closely with the internal teams in quality, tool room, production, sales, customer service, and externally with the customers.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines in a fast-paced, lean, high-volume, complex product manufacturing environment.
  • Review/improve part designs for manufacturability, associated tool design, drawings, and secondary fixtures.
  • Track program cost information to budgeted.
  • Regularly communicate with customers reporting, progress updates, changes and measurables.
  • Provide regular status updates to direct supervisor and executive team.
  • Effectively communicate with internal cross functional teams, customers, and sub-suppliers.
  • Use proactive approach to supporting and enhancing office operations, workflow, procedures, and customer relationships.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, including, but not limited to GD&T, customer specific requirements.


Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years related experience within a manufacturing environment (Die Casting or Plastic Injection molding preferred).
  • Working knowledge and/or proficiency in ProE/CREO a plus
  • Experience in Program Management, Engineering, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production, Material Planning/Control, Logistics extremely beneficial.
  • Capable of problem-solving & multi-tasking.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 a plus.
  • Knowledge of die-cast/molding tool design and manufacturing techniques and related production processes.
  • Professional presence, team player, well organized, highly motivated individual who can work with little or no direction.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff, senior management, and customers in manufacturing, business, and technical environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Attention to detail and strong business acumen.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
  • Potential travel 10%.
