Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering
• 4+ years of engineering experience with new product development
• Experience leading a major development project from concept to launch
• Familiarity with Solidworks design tools
• Proficient in MS Project for scheduling
• Hands-on experience in prototype, build, and test environments
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Willing to travel up to 10% internationally for project needs

Responsibilities

• Support Supply Chain VA/VE projects to optimize costs
• Apply engineering fundamentals for design decision hand calculations
• Manage project details through all product development phases
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across departments
• Develop project schedules reflecting critical milestones
• Track project and product costs to meet budget targets
• Collaborate with purchasing and suppliers to ensure product specifications are met
• Implement risk mitigation plans for critical requirements
• Oversee pilot runs to assure proper manufacturing and quantities
• Manage validation and approval processes for specifications and regulatory requirements
• Report on project status as needed
• Ensure product release through ECR/ECO processes
