Job DescriptionThe Opportunity As the Project Director, you will manage a technical assistance project that trains prison staff and audits workflow processes in prisons to protect the wellbeing of incarcerated people.This role is contingent upon award of the project to Abt Global.
Core Responsibilities - Lead, direct, and control the execution of the five tasks defined in the Statement of Work.
- Oversee work on all tasks and sub-tasks included in the Statement of Work.
- Provide expert direction and guidance to subordinates.
- Develop schedules.
- Formulate work plans.
- Serve as point of contact for all work related to this contract with OJP/Government CORs/Task Monitors and/or customer personnel.
What We Value- Master's Degree + 10 years of relevant experience or PhD + 8 years of relevant experience.
- Degrees in criminal justice or related field are highly desired.
- Experience related to PREA implementation, including overseeing PREA audits and working with DOJ-certified PREA auditors, is preferred.

This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of approximately $120,000 to $150,000 and may vary by ten percent depending on candidate geographic location. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis.
