Job Description

Enlighten is looking for Project Coordinator to help support our Program Managers with support on our Prime Programs. Will work directly with senior management providing any support to the project; i.e. customer interaction, schedule support, budgeting support, timekeeping support, taking meeting notes, etc. Work is performed in a hybrid environment with a great team supporting our customer in Columbia, MD, with visits to customer sites in Ft. Meade, MD and occasional travel to San Antoino, TX as well.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Project/Program Managers (PM) on government contracts.
  • Will interact with all levels within the organization from engineers, to senior management.
  • Help update/maintain the project/program schedule.
  • Attend meetings and take meeting minutes on a regular basis.
  • Interact with government customers.
  • Will help the PM with the project budgets and timekeeping.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Clearance Requirement: Must obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, but not required on day one; U.S. Citizenship required.
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting projects, programs, working with budgets, schedules, administrative support of programs, etc. and a Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  • Experience with meeting facilitation and recording minutes/actions.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Must have desires to learn Program/Project Management and be a quick learner.
  • Prior experience with Finance/budgeting skills.
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts.
  • Proactively identify actions and provide accurate, professional responses to the customer.
  • Track down information and prepare reports and/or briefs to send to the customer.
  • Exemplary customer service skills.
  • Strong communication and organization skills - must be detail oriented.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Work Environment: Hybrid role based out of Columbia, MD, requiring regular visits to customer sites in Ft. Meade, MD. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules is essential.
  • Travel: Approximately 10% travel to customer sites in San Antonio, TX, and Baltimore, MD. Travel frequency and locations may vary based on customer/company support requirements and contract needs.


Preferred Requirements

  • Prior experience supporting technical government contracts and an eagerness to learn more.
  • Active Secret security clearance preferred.
  • MS Project experience.
  • Program/ Project scheduling experience.
  • Experience with technology and AI tools is a huge plus.
