Description

This position allows for a hybrid arrangement with a mix of work from home and in the office.

 

The contract status & project operations coordinator is responsible for supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) group by managing contract tracking, coordinating documentation, and maintaining organized workflows across multiple project functions. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring timely and accurate project reporting.

 

  • Maintain accurate records of contract status across multiple projects.
  • Track contract terms, key milestones, obligations, and renewal or expiration dates.
  • Follow up regularly on payment schedules, pending actions, and required approvals.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all contract-related requirements are met.
  • Prepare and issue transmittals and cover letters for executive approvals.
  • Maintain version control and ensure consistency across submitted documents.
  • Support project teams with the organization and distribution of documentation.
  • Assist in integrating documents into document control system and maintaining structured filing systems.
  • Prepare routine project status updates and dashboards.
  • Build and distribute weekly action item logs for project teams.
  • Assist with invoicing support activities, including gathering required backup documentation.
  • Support the monthly interconnection update process by gathering data, updating trackers, and preparing summaries.
  • Maintain and update interconnection accounts and associated project information.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to the interconnection study process.
  • Provide coordination and administrative support to ensure alignment between project controls, engineering, and management teams.
  • Ensure all project records are filed appropriately.
  • Work with teams to improve document workflows and adherence to established document management procedures.
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination for document updates and project information flow.
  • Travel to client offices and project sites, as required.

Essential skills and experience:

 

  • 1+ years of experience in a professional setting
  • Committed to deliver high quality, accurate deliverables with attention to detail
  • Experience within the energy, power, or utility industry
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge in MS Office tools
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Comfortable with approximately 10-25% domestic travel

Valued but not required skills and experience:

  • A BS in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar degree
  • Prior experience in project coordination, contract administration, or related operations role is desirable
  • Familiarity with interconnection procedures or interconnection processes.
  • Exposure to document control systems or project controls methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools, ProjectWise, or similar systems preferred.
  • Construction/field knowledge or experience is a plus

Compensation Range$69,298 - $99,644 Transparency StatementSargent & Lundy discloses compensation ranges that comply with all local and state regulations.
