Full Job Description
We are seeking for a Project Controls Specialist to independently track project health and margins, uphold governance standards, and provide early warnings so Project Managers can stay focused on execution. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of project cost and schedule data for E Tech Group and serve as an analytical partner to Project Managers.

You will:
  • Assist the Project Manager establish project scope, cost, and schedule baselines at kickoff; use CPM to identify schedule-driving activities and critical-path float.
  • Use financial insight to diagnose budget, cost, and forecast variances and turn them into actionable corrections.
  • Update project schedules, forecasts, and estimates at completion in project management systems.
  • Work with PMs and client personnel on cost, schedule, billing, progress, and reporting; prepare client-specific reports as needed.
  • Coordinate with PMs, subcontractors, and vendors on cost, schedule, billing, progress, and reporting to support performance monitoring and forecasting.
  • Help identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including probability and impact.
  • Evaluate change impacts on budget and schedule and incorporate approved changes into updated baselines.
  • Ensure project transactions comply with company financial policies and governance requirements.
  • Identify manual or repetitive project controls tasks and recommend improvements to internal tools and dashboards.
  • Complete required training on policies, safety, and quality, while staying current on project controls standards, tools, and trends.


You have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Project controls or project coordination experience, preferably in an engineering or automation environment.
  • Experience in cost performance management, EAC/ETC forecasting, variance analysis, and change-order impacts for engineering, automation, or systems integration projects.
  • Ability to turn complex metrics into clear status reports for all audiences.


Travel up to 20-30% may be required to support project sites, Business Unit offices, customer sites, and company meetings.
