WSP is currently initiating a search for a Project Controls / Scheduler to join our Project Controls team out of our Buffalo, NY office. This role will physically be reporting to our client's office in Rochester, NY.

Your Impact

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supports schedule management in support of client programs or projects including design and construction projects.
  • Responsible for supporting and/or developing, updating and analyzing detailed execution schedules for multiple projects being executed simultaneously.
  • Support the development of baseline schedules and/or produce summary and detailed review of baseline durations, logic, resources, costs, cost curves, resource histograms.
  • Identify and analyze schedule critical path/near critical path activities for reasonableness, relevance, and accuracy.
  • Review periodic CPM schedule updates, provide Primavera schedule comparison reports and detailed reviews.
  • Perform earned value analysis and produce EVM reports.
  • Support schedule change management and detail review and analysis of change orders.
  • Support the development of time impact analyses (TIA) to determine the extent of the impacts of potential delays.
  • Provide recommendations for schedule recovery, conduct recovery schedule reviews, and perform what-if scenario analysis.
  • Assess and provide recommendations to resolve schedule, scope changes or delays to the Project Manager, Project Team, and/or Executive Management.


Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and past work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in supporting, developing, and managing project Schedules.
  • Experienced with critical path method analysis/technique with Primavera.
  • Project financial forecasting skills.
  • Change Order and Extension of Time analysis.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working within large and challenging Client Programs with one or more project teams.
  • Effective reporting and communication skills.
  • Experience in preparing project reports and documentation.
  • Construction experience preferred
  • Team player and Strong communication skills

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $97,300-118,100/year

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
