Spring, TX (potential for 1-2 days of travel to Houston area contractor offices weekly)

This opportunity supports early-stage project controls activity within a large-scale refining and chemical environment. The role focuses on cost control, schedule control, forecasting, budgeting, change management, and stewardship reporting across multiple projects. This position offers the chance to contribute to project planning and performance analysis while working closely with project teams and stakeholders in a technically driven setting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
  • Experience in project controls with a focus on cost control and schedule control
  • Experience supporting forecasting, budgeting, progress measurement, and management of change activities
  • Experience working across multiple project stakeholders to analyse and report project cost and schedule performance
  • 3+ years of experience in project control
  • Strong capability in project cost analysis, schedule analysis, reporting, and budgeting
  • Ability to support development and maintenance of project controls plans, cost breakdown structures, control budgets, and project master schedules
  • Experience in change management and stewardship review processes
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, influencing, consulting, and mentoring skills
  • Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and respond quickly to urgent analysis requests
